Loft Bed with Attached Desk
I was commissioned to design a custom loft bed for a child's small bedroom in a New York City apartment. The loft bed has two deep drawers for storage, and a built-in desk. Most importantly, there is ample room underneath the bed for a play area.
The steps leading up to the bed are covered in cork to protect little feet and hands and to prevent slippage.
This bed fits a twin-size mattress, but can be customized to fit any room and mattress size.
