*THIS IS A FIVE WEEK COURSE. THERE WILL BE NO CLASS HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23.
Tuition: $500.00
All necessary materials are covered in the cost of the tuition.
No prior welding or sculpting experience necessary.
Students will be introduced to basic welding and metal sculpting techniques and will complete a simple project by the end of the course. While most beginning welding and metal sculpting classes only offer basic instruction in oxy-acetylene gas welding, this course also offers instruction in the following types of welding:
MIG Welding
ARC Welding
Oxy-Acetylene Gas Welding
Students will also learn how to safely operate power tools used in metal sculpting and fabrication (including cutting, grinding, sanding, etc.)
Classes will be held at the instructor’s studio in LIC, Queens.
